Is planning approval required?

With smaller cabins under six hundred square feet, these are a semi permanent structure and are unlikely to need planning approval provided the roof is not greater than four metres at the apex. Every local authority has different rules though and your should check with your council before going ahead.

With any structure that you plan on living in, it is usual to require planning permission, but please call us to gain further advice.
